I met Ed, like a lot of people did, I'm sure, playing golf. I started working with him at the Department of Public Service in 1995. He was a very nice friendly outgoing person. I know he will be sorely missed by all of his friends and acquaintances. I am glad I was blessed enough to meet and get to know such a good person. My wife Mary and I send our deepest heart felt sympathies to his family and friends for this loss. It is a sad day to lose someone as special as Ed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Murphy family. The Murphy's are like family to us. Mr. Murphy's kindness and generosity are what we remember most. We enjoyed many family dinners together, esp. during the Holiday Seasons and they all provided many happy and lasting memories. God Bless Ed Murphy and the Murphy family.
