Obituary of Thomas J. Lindsay

Thomas J. Lindsay, age 63 of Cazenovia, NY passed away suddenly with his son by his side on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Born on November 19, 1952, he was the son of the late Thomas and Gertrude Lindsay. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law James Fiorio. Thomas was a graduate of Cornell University. He began work as a science teacher for Kent Hill School in Maine before starting his career as an engineer for Intel in Portland, OR. He most recently worked at Global Foundries in Malta as a micro contamination manager. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Lindsay, son Christopher Lindsay, sisters Evelyn (Alfredo) Santi, Christina Nisbet, and Kathleen Fiorio. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Warren (Rebecca) Kohm, and Peter Kohm, and his nieces and nephews, Thomas and Kristen Fiorio, Anthony and Gabriella Santi. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12 to 3 p.m., with a service at 2:30 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park. Burial will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Queens, 110-04 Atlantic Avenue, South Richmond Hill, NY 11419.
