I was a student of Mr. Bell back in 1986. I remember I sat in my driveway in park with my seatbelt on and crying because I was so afraid to drive. He was just so kind and so funny....always cracking jokes during my driving lessons! And, taking him through the Burger Drive thru in Cohoes was something we always did too. I passed my driving test the first time I took it. Only because of Al Bell!! RIP Mr. Bell and thank you!

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband, Dad, grandfather. We have many memories from the time Al taught my Mom to drive (at 46) then me and my daughter as well. Little did I know that many years later we would be working together for the National Safety Council. The Christmas parties, Board meetings, Defensive Driving strategies/conversations. You will be missed Mr. Bell....
