Obituary of Arthur A. Crowe

Please share a memory of Arthur to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Art Crowe went to heaven on Wednesday, June 4th sitting in his favorite chair, in his living room with his family holding his hands. Born in Albany on November 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Arthur and Madaline Crowe and brother of Shirley Haase. Dad retired 30 years ago from Al Tech Steel and has enjoyed every minute of retirement with his family. He never missed deer hunting with the ‘Crowe Gang’, jigging for fish with mom on the ice, gardening and camp in Minerva with our evening ‘deer rides’. He just loved the Adirondacks and knew them inside and out. To our Grampy, Dad and ‘Hon’ you are a man of great honesty, humor and strong moral values with more love squeezed into you than anyone could ever imagine, we can’t thank God enough for sharing you with us all these years. We love you and already miss you to pieces. Groom of 60 incredible years to Connie (Mosher) Crowe. Dad to Nancy (Don) O’Donnell, Sherry (Joe) Walker, Art (Allison) Crowe. Treasured Grampy to Leah, Danny, Joey, AJ, Gypsy, Huntley and Minerva. Calling hours are will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4 Northcrest Drive, with a service on Monday, at 10:30 am at the church with internment at the Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Dad’s honor so we can find a cure for this disease once and for all. Send to Alzheimer's Association NENY Chapter, 4 Pine West Plaza, Suite 405, Albany, NY 12205.
