Obituary of William F. "Bill" Sajler

William F. “Bill” Sajler, age 80 of Clifton Park passed away at his home on Sunday, May 6, 2018. Born on May 30, 1937, he was the son of the late Frank and Stella Sajler. He was predeceased by his wife Bonita “Bonnie” Sajler, brother John, and sisters Frances, Eleanor and Cecilia.

 

Bill worked for Marine Midland for over 25 years before going into real estate and property management. Upon retirement he began working for the Shenendehowa School District in the Maintenance Department. Bill was an active member and parishioner of Corpus Christi Church for 45 years. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and making stained glass. Bill was involved in the Kiwanis Club, the American Institute of Banking, and the Indian Princess Program of the YMCA.

 

He is survived by his son Douglas Sajler; daughter, Darlene (Thomas) Jones, brother Fred (Joan) Sajler, sisters Helen Scesney, Judy (Bill) Willis, and Dutchie Quintal. He is also survived by his grandson, Zachary Jones. 

 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 14th from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a memorial Mass on Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the food pantry at the Jonesville United Methodist Church, 963 Main St., Clifton Park, NY 12065.
