Obituary of Lewis M. Howells

Lewis M. Howells, age 75 of Clifton Park passed away on Monday June 16, 2014 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s. Born on February 6, 1939 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lewis M. and Helen Howells. Lewis was a construction manager for BBL Construction in Albany. He was the chairman of the properties committee at Camp Fowler in Speculator. He is survived by his wife Carol Kendall Howells, and sister Betty Jane Shankweiler. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday 6/18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park. A private burial will be held in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fowler Scholarship Fund, care of Christ Community Reformed Church 1010 Route 146 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
