Obituary of Burton L. Brunell

Burton L. Brunell, age 75 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2018. Born on May 26, 1943, he was the son of the late Louis and Eleanor Brunell.

Burt spent his career as a machine operator at the Watervliet Arsenal for many years. He was an honorary life member of the Sons of American Legion at the Halfmoon Post 1450, where he was an active volunteer; even having a space in the kitchen named for him. He enjoyed wildlife; fishing on Lake Ontario and loved to feed the animals outside of his house. Burt was an avid fan of the Yankees and often listened to the game in his garage.

He is survived by his wife Donna Brunell, sons Shane (Elizabeth) Brunell and Scott (Mariana) Brunell, and his grandchildren London Brunell, Acacia Brunell, and Eden Reinemann.

At Burt’s request, services will be private.
