Obituary of Kerry Cianciola

Kerry Cianciola, age 66 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully Saturday, August 18, 2018 after a 30-year battle with chronic illnesses surrounded by her family.  Kerry was born in Warsaw, NY on July 23, 1952 to Ardith (Pope) Monteleone and the late John Monteleone. She was predeceased by her stepfather Edward Bookmiller and her niece Tracey Dwyer.

Kerry was a graduate of Morrisville College and worked various food service positions after that.  She married David Cianciola on October 21, 1972 in Attica, NY.  Kerry was the center of her family, always taking care of others before herself.  An avid book reader, she cherished her time working at the Burnt Hills Public Library and then the Clifton Park Halfmoon Public Library. 

In addition to her husband, David, Kerry is survived by her cherished children; Christine (Tim) Cullings, Jodie (Chris) Catrambone and Michael (Colleen) Cianciola as well as her cherished grandchildren Logan Cianciola and Grace Catrambone. She is also survived by her mother, Ardith Bookmiller, and siblings Keith (Jane) Monteleone, Karen Jellison, Karol (Jim) Quartley and Kentt (Carol) Monteleone, her in-laws, William (Joyce) Cianciola, Jr. and Peggy (Gary) Siebert as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor in Clifton Park. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer in Niskayuna.
