Obituary of Dorothy K. Diefendorf

Dorothy Diefendorf, age 100 of Rexford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Born in 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Elizabeth Kelley.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Warren E. Diefendorf Jr., and her two sisters.

Dorothy enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world with her husband, especially her annual vacation in Spain. She also enjoyed spending time at Lake St. Catherine in Vermont in the summer. She was very active in her church and volunteered with the Girl Scouts for many years.

She is survived by her son Warren E. (Barbara) Diefendorf, III, daughters Elizabeth (Craig) Slack, Gretchen (David) Bugsch, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her niece Jane Conley

Interment will be private at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla.
