Sara left a deeper impression on my undergraduate life that has never left me. Her spirit, her quirk, her creativity, her charm, her gratefully refreshing way of seeing the world, her artfulness, and more all stick with me. In particular, how gracious and funny and generous she was in making the time to be my "date" during the time of my sister's wedding in 2010 will always remain memorable.
There were few people who could make college weekend nights more down to earth and more connective than Sara. When we were both students at St. Lawrence, she, I, and other friends from Lee Hall would frequent the Java Barn for live music and in all of those experiences, I saw a spirit who wanted to live life to its fullest and to give back to others in building their own experiences.

Sara brought me out my groceries 99% of the time I ordered to go. I’d get excited to see it was her because she was always such a sweet and friendly face. When I heard the news my heart dropped. I haven’t been able to think of anything else.

So so sorry. She loved our Stewarts ice coffees! Sara had a warm smile and it always got bigger when she walked into the Grooms Road Stewarts. She knew we knew and started her ice coffee before she asked. She will be missed.

Jack and I did not have many chances to get to know Sara, but we came to love her through our love for Regina and Charlie, who so blessed our Anna’s life! The memory of Sara that stands out in my mind is her exuberant playfulness with Jordan and Mara the time they met. Though they were much younger than Sara, she just entered in wholeheartedly to playground games (on the slide, jungle gym, etc.) with them. They loved it... and they loved her!! Our whole family grieves with you and holds you in our hearts and prayers.

Sara was the sweetest cashier and had the best personality. As a customer I always waited in her line and we always talked about her fun hair and fun tattoos. She sparkled and was a special person and treated everyone with kindness. My heart goes out to all that knew and loved her well. Rest in Peace Sara

Sara was a gem. She would light the room up when she came through the door. We worked together for years and then changed stores. We we're reunited three years ago and picked up our antics right away. She took my son under her wing when he started working for the Clifton Park Hannaford. She helped him grow and I couldn't thank her enough. I will always remember you and what you were. You are amazing and you will be missed so much by so many. My deepest thoughts and prayers to the family.

No one can really understand the depth of the pain you suffer from your unbearable loss. It is the nature of grief to own our hearts and souls for a while. Those who love you can only stand by you and witness your journey but as you begin to lean, just know that you are never alone. I worked with Sara years ago in Clifton Park, I’ve run into her a few times here and there over the years. She was always a fun loving vibrant young woman. I enjoyed our talks and her perspective on so many things for her age. She had a great personality that just sucked you in and made you want to know her. Please know that she is an angel watching from above. Thoughts and prayers to you.

I only knew Sara from my Saturday trips to Hannaford over the past year or so but we had become friends and the highlight of my trips there. She always brought out treats for my puppers Barrett and Murphy who would patiently wait for her and then beg for lovings. Even if she was on a break she would come talk with me and we would talk about everything and anything. I have been going through a rough time in my life and she was always there just to listen and give me a little pep-talk. Sara and I may not have been all that close but she was an amazing soul that made my life that less dark. I will truly miss her and our weekly talks and will never forget her.
