Steve, Denise and the entire Weekes family. It was a true pleasure to know Jim. As you may remember, I had the good fortune of representing Jim (and Anna) in several of their real estate and business purchases. In 32 years of practice, Jim and Anna were two of my favorite clients. Jim was a man of integrity, good grace and unbounded energy. I still remember vividly how impressed and amazed I was by his willingness to take on new projects and endeavors without hesitation. He was the first to admit he didn't know a lot about crystal mines, (or RV parks!) but that didn't stop him from purchasing Crystal Grove. He had done his homework and was ready for another new project!
I have retired and moved to Florida so unfortunately I will not be able to attend the services. I am sorry I can't be there as I would like to take the opportunity to tell you in person how impressed I was, and remain, of Jim. He was a good man!May he rest in peace. Although, I would think Jim's heaven is not restful - it entails starting new projects!
