Dear Conway Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on John’s passing.
It is just recently, since his return to the area, that I’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with John, thanks to our Friday breakfast meetings. His entertaining stories about his life in Chicago would lead me to believe he led a full and interesting life, albeit too short. He will be a sorely missed, but not forgotten, member of our group.
Please accept my personal apology for not being able to attend the graveside service for John. I’m sure it will be a fitting send off for a first class gentleman!
