Obituary of Catherine A. Machina

Catherine Machina (née Warren) of Clifton Park, NY passed away peacefully on October 7, 2019 with her family by her side.  Born on August 19th, 1936 in Scranton, PA she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (née Walsh) Warren.  

Catherine graduated from Lackawanna High School, Lackawanna, NY.    Her employment history began at a young age with the Night Shift at the General Mills Factory in Buffalo, New York.  After receiving her BA from University of Buffalo and MA from University of Albany, she had a long career with Saratoga County and New York State.

She is survived by, what she considered her greatest blessing, her four loving children, Nancy Machina, Cheryl Machina (David Mackey), Francis (Ann Marie) Machina & Gary (Carolyn) Machina and nine beloved grandchildren; Maria, Angela, Jenna, Frankie, David, Adam, Catherine, Brian and Sarah.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A Machina and her two siblings, Charles T. Warren and Sharon W. Wojnowicz.  

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Home of the Good Shephard, Malta and Hospice for their loving care of Catherine.
Funeral Services and burial at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery are private.
