First and foremost a ‘Lady” who earned great respect and admiration from those who took advantage of the opportunity to get to know her; myself being one of those persons. I’m not going to lie … as a teenager and one of her daughter’s close friends, Jeanne scared me a little. Someone to stay clear of at that age. After-all, I was a teenager, friends with her daughter, and obviously up to no good. But the reality is, my friendship with her daughter sustained despite all the ups and downs, and as I grew up, I became to realize that Jeanne was exactly like my Mother. A ‘Lady” who I respected, would let no one do harm, take every opportunity to soak up their wisdom, and wish they would never go away. To the family, my heart goes out to you!
