Obituary of Kathryn W. Abrahamson

Kathryn “Kappy” White Abrahamson, age 89 of Clifton Park passed away on May 21, 2021. Born on April 17, 1932 in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Jean R. White. She was predeceased by her husband John P. Abrahamson and her brother Harlan (Sylvia) White. Kappy graduated from Lansingburgh High School and Green Mountain Jr. College. She is survived by her sons Mark (Joan) Bruce (Ruth Ann), and Neil (Janet), grandchildren Eric (Gina), Greg (Natalie), Brian (Emily), Katie (Ching Sun) Chang, Cassidy (Nate), great-grandchildren Hayden, Tanner, Elin, Gretchen, Medford, Wallace, Daphne and Elijah, her sister Peggy (Jeff) Gorss; nieces Linda Attia, Judy Proctor, Karen Benko, and her nephew Daniel Gorss. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 8th from 4 to 7 p.m., with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery on Friday at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to an organization of one’s choice.
