Obituary of Maura L. Maloney

Maura Maloney, age 53 of Schenectady passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Born on January 9, 1968, she was the daughter of Patricia Costa and the late Thomas Maloney. She was predeceased by her twin sister Jeanne Costa.

Maura will be remembered for her sweet spirit, sense of humor and her desire to bring peace and healing to everyone she knew. Gentle and loving, she took great pleasure in the relationships she built with family and friends. Her faith was an important and meaningful part of her life, and her relationship with God brought her strength and peace each day.

She is survived by her mother Patricia Costa, sister Deirdre (Jason) Maloney, and many cousins.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30 at Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake, with the family receiving guests starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
