Obituary of Theresa M. "Tess" Prescott

Theresa “Tess” Mennillo Prescott, 86, of Clifton Park, passed away on February 4, 2022. She was born in Troy on February 22, 1935, the daughter of the late Antonio and Teresa Mennillo. Tess was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, Howard K. Prescott, her two sons Howard and David, and her siblings Arthur, Rose, Lee, Rene, and John.

Tess worked in many retail jobs in the area, but her greatest joy came while working as a nanny or when assisting older women.  She was also an actively involved member of the Grace Chapel in Jonesville.

She survived by her son Mark (Julia) Prescott, grandchildren Howard, Matthew, Allison and Rachel, 5 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Pamela. As the youngest of six siblings, she is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Calling hours will held on Wednesday, February 9th from 2 to 4 p.m., with a service at 4 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, in Clifton Park. Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery in the Spring.

The family would like to thank the wonderful members of Grace Chapel Church for their love and support over many years.
