Obituary of Edna V. Cully

Edna Virginia Fyhr Cully, age 90 of Clifton Park passed away on Thursday November 20, 2014. She was born on February 4, 1924, in North Bergen, New Jersey to Oscar and Selma Fyhr. A long-time resident of the Springdale area of Stamford, CT, from 1953 to 1993 when she re-located with her late husband Robert to Clifton Park, NY. Edna enjoyed spending time with friends at ceramics class, family gatherings, and watching her great granddaughter grow. She will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cully Sullivan and her husband Kevin of Clifton Park, NY; son John Cully and his wife Debra of Waterford, NY. Her family also includes four grandchildren Gregory Sullivan and his wife Rebecca, Meaghan Sullivan Leonard and her husband Michael, Robert Cully and his wife Bridget, and Meredith Cully; as well as a great grandchild Adelynn Leonard. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 27 at 10 a.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc. 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
