Obituary of Joan C. Alexander

Joan C. Alexander age 81 of Ballston Lake passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022. Born on March 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Lasch.

Joan worked as a supervisor for the NYS Judge Advocates Office for 14 years. She was a talented crocheter, and an avid gardener who loved tending to her flowers. She especially enjoyed spending many years researching her genealogy, and tracing her family back for generations.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years; Joseph Alexander, daughter Karen Walkowicz, sons James Alexander and Michael (Donna) Alexander, brothers John “Buzzy” Lasch, and Brian Lasch, and her loving grandchildren Amanda and Megan Walkowicz, and Matthew Alexander, and Christine, Jewels, and Isabella Alexander, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 18^th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. Burial will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
