Silvia M. Gentilesco, age 95 of Ballston Lake passed away on Thursday January 8, 2015 at Evergreen Community Nursing Home in East Greenbush. Born on July 27, 1919 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Smeraldo and Loretta Peduzzi. She was predeceased by her husband George A. Gentilesco, and siblings; Arthur, Louis, and Rita.

Silvia was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake, and was a member of the women’s auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.

She is survived by her son George Gentilesco, daughter Lorraine (Thomas) Lindstedt, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, with a funeral Mass at 1:30 p.m. at Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake.
