Sanford A. “Jr.” Swartz, age 79 of Round Lake passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 31, 2023. He was the son of the late Sanford and Grace Swartz. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald Swartz.

Jr. spent his career at Albany Medical Center in the Biomedical Engineering Dept. for 25 years. In his retirement, he owned and operated the family marina in Latham. He belonged to the Tri State Antique Tractor Club along with his wife.

He is survived by his wife Janice Swartz, children Stephanie Miller, Andrew Swartz, and Kyle (Marcy) Swartz, his grandchildren Stacy (Andrew) Marble, Joshua and Austin Swartz, great-grandchildren, and his sister Marion Nadeau.

A graveside service will be held on his Monday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
