I worked with Owen over the past 4 years and we became good friends. Once I got to know him I realized how special of a person he was; so kind, positive and compassionate. He would always speak of how much he loved his family especially his mom. It's very rare to find people like him in this world. I wanted to help him succeed at Philips in any way that I could because he deserved it. Whenever he was unsure about how good he was doing in quality I would tell him how great he was and how proud of him I was and if he needed help I was always there willing to do so. He would reply "thanks dad" and we'd laugh. Whenever I was having a bad day he would cheer me up with his positivity and put me in a better mood. If I was negative about something I wanted to happen he would say "Come on Jon you have to will it into existence". Which is now a saying i use. I miss how everyday we would sing songs to each other to get them stuck in each other's head and then laugh about it. His go to songs were the golden girls theme song and the song Tequila. I will always miss him and will never forget him. I am truly a better person for having him in my life. RIP my friend.
