Obituary of Edward J. Dworakowski

Edward J. Dworakowski, age 71 of Clifton Park passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on August 21, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1951 in Troy, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Raylinsky Dworakowski. He was predeceased by his brother Richard (Mary) Dworakowski.

Ed was a 1969 graduate of Shenendehowa High School. He was a member of the FFA and worked as a skilled carpenter for Guyer Builder and the Local Carpenter Union #291. After his retirement, he moved to Great Sacandaga for a more peaceful life. Ed enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time on Sacandaga Lake and Lake Nancy. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years; Michele DeSina Dworakowski, children Lisa Dworakowski Mead (Matthew), Edward Dworakowski Jr. (Amber Alberti), Michael Dworakowski, and Jennifer Dworakowski. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Dworakowski, and his grandchildren Matthew Mead, Adam and Rose Trzepaczka, Clinton Wyatt Waddell, and Hailey “Willow” Waddell, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 in Clifton Park, with a funeral service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Mechanicville.
