Obituary for: Benjamin M. Scribner Benjamin (Ben) Malone Scribner, 28 of Saratoga Springs, NY passed away suddenly at his home on September 2, 2023. Ben was born in Malta, NY to parents Bridget Cotugno and Brian Scribner on May 15, 1995. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Louis Cotugno and his paternal grandmother Martha Scribner. He graduated Ballston Spa High School in 2013. He went on to earn a associates degree in business from Schenectady County Community College. For many years, he worked as a contract driver for the USPS as well as running his own private delivery business. Ben enjoyed family camping trips, NASCAR, gardening, gaming, and spending time with family and friends. Like his grandfathers, he was an avid Red Sox fan. He loved all animals and was a loving pet owner of many pets. Ben is survived by his mother Bridget Cotugno (Thomas Sisson), father Brian Scribner (Kimberly Fortune), maternal grandmother Sally Cotugno, paternal grandfather Sheldon Scribner, uncles Mark Cotugno, Stephen Scribner, and his cousins Sasha Scribner, Ryan Scribner, and Nicholas Scribner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steve Caporizzo's, Pet Connection, 341 Northern Blvd., Albany, NY 12204 A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 7 from 5-7pm at Catricala Funeral Home located at 1597 Rte 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
