Obituary of Barbara L. Barrett

Barbara L. Barrett, age 72 of Pompano Beach Fl. passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023. At Samaritan Hospital. After a long illness.. Born In Kingston, and was the Daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Long and step father Arthur Pratchett. Barbara grew up in Averal Park. She Graduated from the State University of New York at Delhi in 1970 and began her career with the State of New York retiring in 2005 after 35 years of service, most of which was with the Department of Taxation and Finance. Barbara is survived by her son Adam who she most regrettably leaves behind. Her Brothers Daniel, David and Scott (AmySue) Long and Step-sisters Kelley (Tom) Sheraw Maureen (Tom) Pratchett and Marina (Doug) Robinson. and Several Nieces and Nephews. A Celebration of Life will be Celebrated Sunday September 24th at 5:30 pm at the Mill Restaurant in Round Lake.
