John F. Mitchell, Jr.

John F. Mitchell, Jr. Age 85 of Clifton Park passed away at his home after a short illness on November 3, 2023.

John was born in Troy and was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Mitchell, Sr.

He is pre deceased by his wife Barbara Ann Mitchell and their Daughter Justine Mohrmann.

Two brothers Lloyd and M. James Mitchell and a sister Betty Ann Hawkins.

John was a Veteran serving in the Air Force. And then worked for Ford Motor Company in Green Island retiring in 1988. He loved fishing mostly in Saratoga Lake, but most of all he was a devoted Father and Provider to his family.

He is survived by His three children Tamara (Gary) MacDonald, Dennis (Lee) Mitchell and Daniel Mitchell.

Two Granddaughters Christina Mallory, Emily Mohrmann and a sister-in-Law Dolores Mitchell

And several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday 9am till 11am with a service to follow at 11am in the Catricala Funeral Home Inc. 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park NY 12065. Burial will be at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
