Theresa "Shirley" Sicko, age 88, of Halfmoon, passed away peacefully at home, after a long illness. Shirley was born in Cohoes, daughter of the late John and Theresa Daigneault, and a brother John K. Daigneault.

Shirley was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted homemaker. She showered their grandchildren with boundless love, as their Nana. She loved watching them play various sports; also a regular at the casinos.

Survived by her husband of 72 years, Frank Sicko. She was a proud mother of a daughter, Shirley English, 2 sons, Mark and Randy Sicko; 4 grandchildren, Paul (Laura) English, Dana (Jason) Fernet, Matthew and Scott (Dana) Sicko. 5 Great-grandchildren, Hailey Robideau, Kylie and Noah Fernet, Cayden Sicko and Anthony English.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 7, from 2-5 pm at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park. A Mass of Christan burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church Crescent, Monday at 11 am. A burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Waterford.
