JUDITH (BADGER) HUTCHINSON, age 82 of Halfmoon, NY, passed away on March 29, 2024, at St Peters Hospital. Born in Waterford, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Davis) Badger. Along with her parents she was predeceased by three sisters, Shelia Leque, Paula Badger and Joan Mushorn and a brother George Badger Jr.

Judy lived in Waterford as a child before moving to Cohoes. She attended Abram Lansing and Cohoes High School. She was employed at Star Textile, Cohoes Hospital, and the Eddy Rehabilitation Center where she retired after many years of service.

She enjoyed bingo and outings with family and friends. She especially loved going to the movies, the comedy club along with her many trips to the Lake George Dinner Theater. Judy was a very sociable lady and made friends easily wherever she went. She always put others before herself. She loved to cook and was a huge fan of all the cooking shows. She would prepare meals at the senior complex where she lived for many of her neighbors to enjoy. They loved her for it. She was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church for the past 18 years where she enjoyed friendship and fellowship with many of the parishioners.

Her survivors include, her good friends Joyce Zayachek and God-daughter Rhonda Esposito, Barbara and Doug Jones, Debbie McBride. Her sisters, Janice Spizowski, Barbara Len, Darlene and (Charles) Mushorn and one brother, Ronald and (Beth) Badger. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Calling hours and service will be held on Thursday April 4,2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. At the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Rt. 9 Clifton Park. A funeral service will be held at 6:15pm during calling hours.
