Bill attended our St. Clare’s Cardiac Rehab Program many years ago & continued his exercise regime for over 15 years. During that time, I got to know him very well as a devoted husband, father & grandfather. The love for his family shined in his face with every story he told me. He was also so very respected by everyone in our department!! He did so much for our entire community but always very humble about his accomplishments! He will always remain forever in my memories.

To Lori Anne, Michele, and the entire Mather family, I am sad to hear of Bill's passing, but feel fortunate that for a number of years when I first entered the health insurance field, Bill was there as an important influence and role model for me. I always felt supported, encouraged, and able to approach him when I needed counsel. He had an easy smile, was quick to laugh, always calm, professional and willing to help. I was saddened to read of Bill’s passing today. I knew Bill when he served on the board of directors of Family and Child Service of Schenectady. He served with a big heart and clear mind to assist the organization to grow and serve the Schenectady community better and better. The inner combination of values, skills and personality characteristics made Bill a true “pillar” of the community. My condolences to his family and friends.
