It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony "Tony" Caton, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 15, 2024, doing what he loved the most, riding his motorcycle.
Tony was born on February 15, 1983, in Saratoga Springs, NY. He is survived by his parents, Terry and Laura Caton, best friend and brother, Joseph and his wife, Tricia Caton, nephew Jett Caton, and grandparents "Mimi & Papa," Jonathan and Nancy Meager. Other survivors include aunts, Kathryn Meager and Tami Mc Donough, cousins, Tia Pelneau (James) and Thomas McDonough, among countless other family members, friends, and "followers."
Anyone who knew him, knew that Tony lived his life to the fullest and by his own rules; his motto was always "go big or go home." Aside from being an avid motorcyclist from the age of three, Tony was also a talented mechanic who loved exotic sports cars, motocross, snowmobiles, and basically anything with a motor. He was well known for his impressive collection of cars, Harleys, and being the "str8uptony" so many admired and followed. Tony was fiercely passionate about weightlifting, expressing his views, including his unwavering support of Donald Trump, and being the best "funcle" to his nephew, whom he loved so very much.
After graduating from Shenendehowa Central School in 2001, Tony became an integral part of the family business, Northway Estates in Malta. He has worked hard and was extremely proud to be the community manager, in addition to operating his own company, A. Caton Properties.
Tony had a generous heart and would do anything for his friends, family, and all those he loved; he was fearless, a natural born leader, and one of a kind. One thing is for certain, he left his mark on this world and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Catricala Funeral Home at 1597 US Route 9 12065 in Clifton Park. Immediately following, there will be a gathering on Tony's private property. Because of his love for children, his family kindly requests donations be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
