Arleen LaPlante, 96 of Halfmoon passed away after a short illness on Friday, June 21, 2024.

Born in Mechanicville, she was the daughter of the late Miles and Myrtle Lee and predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years Joseph A. LaPlante.

Arleen was a secretary at General Electric in Schenectady, retiring in 1987 after 42 years of service.

She is survived by her daughters Mary LaPlante, Fran (Earl) Raifstanger, and Erin Hatter, and grandchildren Ana, Cori (John) MacCallum and Timothy Hatter, a great granddaughter Mallory MacCallum and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial gathering Wednesday June 26, from 11am with a service at noon, at the Catricala Funeral Home, Inc.
