Obituary of George Lyman

Albany, NY. George Lyman, age 76 of Waterford, NY passed away on Monday September, 23, 2024. Born in Jonesville, NY. He was the son of the late Daniel L. and Florence (Smith) Lyman. George was predeceased by his wife of 43 years Sandra Lee Lyman and by three brothers, David, William and Donald. George was an avid golfer; it was his favorite pastime. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles and football and NASCAR and was proud of his gardens outside. He was an animal lover, and leaves behind his beloved dog Sadie and his cat Mei. He worked construction for many years. He also worked at the Saratoga Race Track riding a tractor. He was an active member of the American Legion and enjoyed spending time with his many friends. George is survived by his Daughter Kimberly Lyman; Three brothers, Dennis Lyman, Danny and (Rose) Lyman and Dale L. Lyman along with one sister, Dolores and (Rick) LeClair. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Calling Hours will be held at the Catricala Funeral Home 1597 Rt.9 Clifton Park, NY on Tuesday October 1, 2024, from 1:00pm-4:00pm a Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 4:00pm.
