Ballston Lake, Patricia A. (Ellis) Kitchell, 70, passed away at her home in Ballston Lake, NY, on Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Patricia was born in Schenectady NY, a daughter of the late Philip E. and Joan B. (Calkins) Ellis; predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Seraichyk, and a special canine companion, Lexi. Following her graduation from high school, she took some college courses and shortly thereafter, started a family. She retired from MetLife in Warwick, RI as an Auto and Home Insurance Sales Executive Administrator.

Patricia, known to most as Patty, had a passion for New York Yankees baseball, New England Patriots football, and loved spending time at Beaver Tail, Rhode Island, sitting and listening to the waves. Nothing, however, was more precious to her than spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren.

Patricia leaves behind her three children: Rachael (Matthew) Sherman, Jason (Christie) Kitchell, and Matthew (Koren) Kitchell; her grandchildren: Mason, Campbell, Estelle, Ellis, Gwyneth, Maximilion, Daisy, and Duke; as well as her three brothers: Philip (Maryann) Ellis, Edward (Teresa) Ellis, and James (Suzanne) Ellis; and many nieces and nephews.

A period of visitation for Patricia will be held from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:00AM at The Church at Newtown Road, 142 Lower Newtown Road, Waterford, NY 12188, with a burial at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY following the service.

Memorial Contributions in Patricia's name may be made to The Church at Newtown Road.
