Halfmoon – Mrs. Lisa M. Porter, 55, of Halfmoon, New York, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at St. Peter's Hospice following a long illness. Lisa was born in 1969 in Cohoes, NY, a daughter of Walter G. Zayhowski, Jr. and Gail P. (Clark) Hartnagle. She worked many years for Berkshire Bank as the AVP Branch Manager of the Halfmoon location. She married Steven C. Porter in 1996, and together they had a son, Ryan. Lisa enjoyed traveling, and especially cruising the Caribbean. She loved making visits to the Saratoga casino, where she could be found playing the slots with her girlfriends. She loved spending time with her friends, and was in turn, beloved by many. Lisa especially treasured holidays with her family. Lisa is survived by her parents: Walter G. Zayhowski, Jr., Susan B. Zayhowski, and Gail P. (Clarke) Hartnagle; her husband: Steven C. Porter; their son: Ryan D. Porter; her siblings: John B. (Marielle) Zayhowski, Brian P (Alicia) Zayhowski, and Michelle A. (Randy) Ford; and many nieces and nephews; as well as her many beloved friends. A period of visitation for Lisa will take place at Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Route 9 Clifton Park, New York 12065 on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, followed immediately by a memorial service at 11:00 am. After the memorial service, burial will take place at Jonesville Cemetery, 977 Main Street, Ballston Lake, NY 12019. Lisa's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Adriana Lisinschi of NYOH, Dr. Kyle Denniston of St. Peter's, and all of the wonderful nurses for their support and excellent care over the last three and a half years.
