Halfmoon – Laura Jean Tasciotti, 73, of Halfmoon, New York, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at her home.

Laura was born in Poughkeepsie, New York in 1951 to the late Richard and Betty (Dalrymple) Tasciotti. After graduating high school, Laura attended Maria College and HVCC to earn her nursing degree. Following college, she enjoyed a 30+ year career in nursing, serving the Greater Capital Region.

When Laura wasn't at work, she enjoyed spending time at home listening to music watching tv. Her favorite programs were singing programs, such as America's Got Talent and The Voice. She also loved to go out to eat with friends, and especially loved time with her family.

Laura is survived by her children: Philip B. DiPace, Jr., and Gina M. DiPace; her two grandchildren: Abigail and Evan; and her brothers: Frank Tasciotti and Richard Tasciotti.

Services for Laura will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
