I would like to extend my sympathy to the Lynch family on the loss of Kevin. Kevin and I were long time friends. We met back in 1967 at Simmon's Mortuary School as we trained for our life long professions as funeral director's.We shared an apartment with Todd Volpe and had a great time learning how to be funeral direcots. Kevin was always focused on where he was going in life which was unusual as he was one of the youngest students at Simmons. He gave everything to funeral service as he worked at ground zero after 9/11/2001. I saw him last summer and he told me about the cancer that affected his brain. He was very positive that regardless of what ever was to happen he was very happy with the way his life journey took him. He was very proud of his children and family. I know that he will be dearly missed by all of the lives that he touched throughout his short life.

I was sorry to read that Kevin has passed. I have been praying for him since I heard about his illness several months ago. Kevin was an honorable and loving family man and I know he will be terribly missed by his survivors and his mother Grace. I will not be able to visit with the family due to the weather and the road conditions. They will be in my thoughts at this sad time. Sincerest regards, Jean Soden Marks

I am so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing. I grew up with the Lynchs and was a friend of Kathy. I remember sleigh riding with Kevin on hills on Livingston Ave. His riding stopped when he broke his back one day. I remember being so proud when I was asked to sign his cast. I also have lots of more memories of his wonderful family. Kathy...I have been praying for Kevin since I heard of his illness and will continue to for your family.

My father Paul Bouchard who passed away suddenly in December 2013 counted Kevin as one of his friends. They knew each other for years as fellow ushers at St. Mary of the Assumption in Waterford for the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass. My father always spoke highly of Kevin and would have been very sad to hear of his passing. On behalf of my father and our family, please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Kevin will be missed and always remembered. A good friend, awesome Deputy Commander in the New York Guard and a fellow Law Enforcement colleague. I will never forget his humor and jokes, Kevin made you laugh even when you least expected it. Kevin served his community, God and Country, in a noble fashion, and now he continues to honorably serve our Heavenly Father. His spirit will always live on, in our hearts and minds. My prayers to Kevin's family and friends and may our Lord continue to bless you all.
