Joan was the most special lady in my life . We were together for 3 years from 1985 thru 1988 and it was an amazing time . We had so much fun learning from one another and traveling to Arizona and California along with her daughter Danielle on one of the trips we took . I admired Joan greatly and loved the many talks we had over the phone almost every month . I treasured our close friendship that we developed over the years and will feel such a deep void in my heart . Joan you touched my heart and sole so much and I will never forget you . Danielle, Anthony, Frank, Joan, Ed, Naomi, William, Janette, Carly, Jordan and all those who knew Joan, I am writing to wish you all great peace and inspiration during this difficult time.
Joan was a tremendously fun, bright, affectionate friend to me in the 7 months that I've known her. She got so passionate about various things we talked about - history, travel, new friends she'd made, that it seemed she was singing, not just talking. She had the most hysterical laugh, which I can hear very freshly in my memory, now. It seemed that her life was just beginning.
I miss her keenly, already, and can't imagine what you're going through.

Dear Danielle and Family ,
Your Mom will be missed ....
My Friend Joan will be so missed . Her generous Heart and listening ear will be missed .
She was truly a Diamond in our group of Ladies . We met her at the Knox Woods Pool shortly after she moved to Clifton Park, Ny and knew she would fit in with us . We enjoyed heading to the movies and going out to restaurants as a group of gals . A couple of us would meet at Joan's to watch The Bachelor and The Bachelorette goo goo'ing over those Hot Men and laughing at the ditsie women . We had wonderful Dinner gatherings at each other's homes with Pot Luck Dinners. We will Truly miss our Friend Joan . She will always be in our hearts and Prayers .
