I miss the days of Dick acknowledging fire calls for Jonesville Fire "WQW-518 is on Fire Control". An Icon at Jonesville in the day. My sincere condolences to Dick' family. I played Poker with Dick every Wednesday and we always had a lot of laughs. I came to know his son John and daughter Carol when they brought him to play poker at the Shen Center. I also met his son Mike when he came to visit from Alaska. We talked a bit about the TV show Mike was on from Alaska which I loved to watch. Dick was so proud of him and all his children. We will surely miss him. Rest in Peace, Dick.

I’m so sad to hear of Dick’s passing. He had the best stories and wasn’t afraid to share them. There were so many times that I would either miss a truck or be on stand by for hours in the middle of the night and Dick’s stories were the entertainment. Stories about Dick will live on for generations to come and will bring a smile and laugh to many. I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Dennis

To the entire Horstman(n) :) / Wheeler Families-
We are very saddened by the death of RJH but know that his desire to be reunited with "grandma" has been fulfilled. There are so many "neat" stories to tell of him - his legacy will live on for a very long time. Take care of yourselves and each other. We are here for you also.
