Sue McCarthy Palmer posted a condolence
Sunday, October 25, 2020
My mom,Mollie McCarthy, and I (Sue McCarthy Palmer) just learned of Ted's passing this morning while walking past their home on Brant Lake. Ted brightened all our family's lives and Mom and Dad (Bill McCarthy) enjoyed many pleasant hours with them both as neighbors on Brant Lake and while both couples were wintering in Florida. Our love and prayers go out to Donna and the entire Schaap family. We will always treasure the joy of knowing Ted and the smiles he always brought to our hearts and faces.

My heartfelt sympathies to all. I have nothing but fond memories of Uncle Ted. He had a quiet way of showing he cared about you. All who knew him well and loved him knew that. He was a good man who loved his family. He is with Teddy now and rejoicing in heavens glory. Rest peacefully, Teri

I am extremely saddened to hear of Ted's passing. Although I know that he is in a much better place, reuniting with his son Teddy and other loved ones, he will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of joining his family in 1997 when my sister Kristen married his son, Steve. It didn't take long for me to realize how much of a genuine and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend he was. My sincerest condolences go out to his entire family, friends, and anyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.... RIP, Ted....
