I carpooled with Sam and Charlie Gimbrone and one other person back in the early 80s while I was working for the Department of Health. It was always lively conversation all the way into Albany (thanks to Sam and Charlie), and almost always light-hearted. Only once did it get out of control, but Sam had a way of bringing everything back into perspective. Rest In Peace, Sam. James Close Mechanicville, NY
