Graduated HS with Al from Cathedral Academy after spending 13 years together in classrooms. He never failed a test (not even close) never failed a friend. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Joe Tierney

To the Iwaniec Family,
Our hearts are saddened and we grieve with you over the loss of a great man. I remember Al from when we lived on Dana Avenue. Almost everyday, Al, myself, and all the other boys in the neighborhood would be outside playing street football, and some evenings we would get his brother Joe to come out and toss the ball around with us.
Al was a great mentor to those of us that had no male role model in our lives. He was always kind, pleasant, and fun to be around and those wonderful memories are a treasure to have.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we hope all the great memories you have help you through this difficult time.
God Bless !

Iwaniec family,
I worked with Al as a fellow supervisor in the USPS for many years. I'm sorry to read about his passing. Al was a super
friendly guy who got along with many of his fellow supervisors and employees. I will keep him in my prayers and may Al rest
in peace.
