I too am a phonograph collector and do some repair work, which is how I cam to know Ron. It was always a pleasure to see him and chat. I looked forward to seeing him at the New Jersey show twice a year. He knew so much and his advice was always spot on. Sincerest condolences.

I am a collector and restorer of antique phonographs, and I knew Ron for over 35 years, and was a frequent client of his phonograph parts business. It was always a great joy to call him up, he was forever cheerful and bright. We always spent some time shooting the breeze and chatting about our hobby. We had a lot in common. I was born and raised in Schenectady, and my father worked for GE for 46 years. I grew up in an engineering environment, and I enjoyed chatting with Ron about thread sizes, metal thicknesses, manufacturing processes, etc. There is no way for me to express how broken my heart is over Ron’s sudden passing. I shall never fill the space he has left. And therefore I extend to Carolyn and the other members of his family, and to everyone who knew him as the wonderful soul that he was, my deepest feelings of comfort and sympathy.
