My sincerest condolences to the entire Sheftic family and friends. I met Dick almost 50 years ago when we worked together at Montgomery Wards in Menands on the North Dock in catalog sales pickup. I was only a teenager then and it was my first “real job.” People like Dick make an impression that obviously lasts a lifetime. His kindness, strong values, hard work ethic and integrity made him a role model I would never forget. When I saw he passed away I wanted to share my praise of him with those who loved him and will miss him most. May you find strength at this time in the warm memories you made with him.
