Dear Sharon, Jay, Drew and Family,
Our sincere condolences to you all. I have fond memories of your mom in Cedarvale always welcoming me into your cottage when I came over which was often! Your mom was behind the counter offering up some Tang, chocolate chip pancakes or popcorn. She was always interested in what was new and kept current with all the news. She was a very smart and talented lady who most certainly passed down her qualities to her children. I will think of your mom whenever I make her "Mrs. Emerson Chocolate Crinkle Cookies." Dear Mr. Emerson, my longtime Cedarvale friends,
Drew and Sharon and Jay.
I remember your mother was kind and joyous, involved and nurturing.
Ellie was always interested in helping, making sure we were all having a good time in a safe environment, to be aware of safety and as friends, to look out for one another.
Many fond memories with your Mother at Malletts Bay 4th of July fireworks.
Preparing the picnic table by the lake and organizing garden chairs for the sunsets.

We are very sorry for your loss of your mother and grandmother.
Ellie was such a good neighbor on Cedarvale Lane and a wonderful long time friend to our parents. We remember her as a really good sport who supported our Cedarvale activities and welcomed all of us to gather at her cottage, along with our noise, music and friends. Her laugh was so uplifting.
