My late parents Veronica and Joseph Fischer owned the Convenient Food Market in the Loudon Shopping Center and they were close friends of Beverly and John who also owned a store in Clifton Park. I later worked with your mom at our store. She was a very kind and caring person. The last time I saw her was at the Saratoga Racino. I am very sorry for your loss.

I met Beverly in Dec. 1990 at Price Chopper. We immediately became friends because she welcomed me to the job like I was her daughter. She was kind, genuine, sincere, and
always happy. She gave excellent Customer service to everyone she came in contact with. The photo is from this Mother’s Day as I visited her, which she was enjoying just by being honored as a great Mom and friend. I love you Bevy as you know.
I will miss you always. Rest in peace my dear friend. God bless you.

The obituary speaks of Beverly's long, dedicated service, at Price Chopper, in Shoppers World, Clifton Park. That store has a reputation for many kind, caring employees. Beverly was always my favorite among them! Below is an incident that speaks volumes about her character and commitment.
Although with the passage of time, I have forgotten some of the specific details, I will never forget a surprising incident that happened in Beverly's check out aisle about 25 years ago. For some reason, there were more people checking out at that time than normal, so the lines were backed up. The customer in front of me had a small order, possibly just enough food to eat a quick meal on the run. But the line ahead seemed to stand still. By the time the customer finally stood next to Beverly, the customer's temper had apparently reached a boiling point, so the customer tore the cover off her container of yogurt, threw the yogurt into Beverly's face, and fled the building. Without as mch as a single vulgar word, Beverly pulled out a handkerchief, wiped the yogurt from her glasses and face, and continued to serve as if nothing strange or unpleasant had happened. That was Beverly: a Christian lady, with a loving, servant heart, through and through.
Both Beverly and John were wonderful people. May their children and grandchildren know peace and comfort today.
