For 15 years she lived in the apartment downstairs from me at Shen V. Even though I have moved, every time I drop something, which is often, I say, “Sorry, Ann!” She once told me “Just walk around if you drop something heavy so that I know you’re okay”. That was the way she was, a caring loving friend! We got to know each other's families in those fifteen years. We had spiritual conversations, played games – dominoes, etc., and went to water aerobics at the Y. Although I moved to another State and could not see her for five years, I kept in touch by phone, and her death really “hit” me because she was such a close friend of mine!
