Clifton Park, NY. Angeline E. New age, 93 passed away peacefully Wednesday September 11, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital. Born in the Town of Nassau, NY she was the daughter of the late Vernon Hall and Esther Heinburg. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Herbert New and her daughter Deborah Jean (Palmer)Lindley,along with 6 siblings. Angeline worked at the Schalmont High School for 25 years retiring as a confidential secretary to the Principal. After retiring, she worked for the town of Halfmoon as a Deputy Town Clerk for many years before retiring at the age of 75. She was a very involved member of Temple Baptist Church (The church at Newtown Rd) since 1990, and served faithfully in many roles, including the church secretary. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly misssed. Angeline is survived by one daughter, Dianne and (Brian) Hebert; their 3 children, Leif Kapp, Brianna and (Corey)Meyer and Danica Hebert. Also her grandsons Curtis Palmer, Arthur Palmer and Clayton Palmer, their wives and several great grand children (from her predeceased daughter Debby.) Calling hours will be held at Hoosic Valley Community Church, 2024 Route 40, Schaghticoke, NY 12154 , on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The viewing will be from 10-12 noon with the Funeral Service to follow (at the same location) .Burial to take place at Memory's Garden in Colonie, Ny. Donations may be made in her name to the Albany City Rescue Mission 259 S. Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12202
